H. Zosterae is the most common of the pigmy seahorses. They are native to Florida.
They come in many colors, yet all are 2" grown. They love to eat adult brine,
baby brine, young gammarus, copepod, and rotifers. They possibly have the shortest
getstation of all seahorses, that being 10-14 days. They have between 3-50 babies,
depending on each seahorse, and their food(s). Cream, tan, black, white, and brown
are the standard colors. Green, chocolate, reddish, yellow, gold, and bi-colored,
or Canary pygmies are all rare colors. The Canary is black and yellow banded for
the most part. The pigmies prefer a lower salinity, that of 1.020.
